Meet the heart and soul behind Pride of Care – Mr. Dickson Vambe. With a combined experience of over 8 years in the care industry, they bring a wealth of knowledge and a shared passion for providing top-notch care services.
Perpetua oversees the daily operations of Pride of Care. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the Health and Social Care sector, supporting and empowering people is something that has been the main focus of her life and career. She comes from a teaching background, having risen to the post of Assistant Head Teacher at Secondary School Level. She is self motivated and is very passionate about empowering people and supporting each individual to aspire to get into careers of their choice and to achieve excellence.
Perpetua has a proven track record of delivering exceptional care to a diverse clientele of all ages. She has supported a diverse range of clients, including the elderly, those living with disabilities as well as those living with Dementia, Parkinson’s disease as well as Parkinsonism. She has also supported individuals with mental health conditions, as well as providing care and support for respite, convalescence care as well as End of Life care and support for both clients and their families.
Her leadership skills are excellent bearing evidence of her Master’s degree acquired through the renowned Cranfield University in England.
Having relocated from Zimbabwe to England, where she is now a citizen, Perpetua has enjoyed working in the Health and Social Care Sector. Starting as a carer, she rose through the ranks working to the positions of senior carer, Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator. As a result of her commitment and devotion,sheI was soon promoted to work as a Deputy Care Manager. Having successfully completed her NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. She has worked for 3 companies as a registered care manager. Having worked in this role for years and with the vast knowledge and experience gained, she was motivated to go into business for herself. It has been her desire to open her own care business and do something positive yet completely different to improve both client and carer experiences. Being aware of the challenges faced by care staff, and desiring to make a difference by offering carers an opportunity to work for a company that truly appreciates them, putting their needs and happiness first. She found herself excited by the opportunity of setting up a new business where She is able to give something back to the community by looking after people in their own homes and giving them a better quality of life through a well trained and caring team of care assistants. She is a very sociable, hands on and optimistic individual, who has actively pursued personal continuous career development, and made a career of very high quality service to both staff and clients..
